From a tiny 0.8ha block, the vines rooted in clay, sandstone and quartz. It’s a perfect chardonnay site and as such is the most varied wine in any given vintage. One is never quite sure what to expect, except something wonderful from the team at Gentle Folk. The most expressive of the single vineyards with white and yellow flowers, stone and citrus fruit. Rich, full bodied and opulent, the oak providing support for the masses of fleshy fruit. Glistening and dazzling the acidity refreshing the palate, with a dry extract, chewy finish.
