The only thing wrong with this wine, sourced from a 0.38-hectare vineyard in Cape Town, is that there’s so little of it, owing to the size of the parcel and the strong prevailing winds. Pure, taut, focused and refined, it’s peppery, herbal, graceful and red-fruited, with a delicacy and elegance that wouldn’t look out of place in Côte Rôtie. 2024-30. 97 points – Tim Atkin MW
