Mid ruby in colour. Very attractively perfumed on the nose and agreeably fresh. Some roses as well as red fruit. This is not the most powerful Malconsorts you will ever taste, but there is a fine tensile strength which shows off the qualities of the vineyard very expressively. Properly persistent, a lovely wine for the medium term. Drink from 2032-2038. Tasted Nov 2025. (94-96), Jasper Morris M.W., Inside Burgundy, January 2026
From 0.74 ha of vines planted early 1970’s located close to Grand Cru La Tache, aged in 2/3rds new oak, 1/3rd 1 yo oak. A wine of rare breed and depth of Grand cru quality and dimension.

A fine glowing pinkish purple. The most elegant of the three in bouquet. And a little the deepest in fruit with a ripe strawberry fruit that is very appealing. Almost quite sensual at the finish and though the oak is quite present in youth, this will all come together very nicely. Drink from 2026-2028. Tasted […]

The vineyard name, Les Longeroies, probably comes from the French verb longer, which means ‘to border’. This makes sense as Longeroies is on the boundary between Marsannay and the next village of Chenôve. It is one of the star climats of the AOC and has been earmarked for promotion to 1er Cru (when Marsannay finally gets some!). Longeroies faces south, […]
