Dark and intensely savory nose with a hint of roasted meat. Only medium-bodied, but the tannins are full and compact. Long finish that’s slightly drying. The first vintage of this wine. 91 points – James Suckling
Hand picked over several passes, naturally fermented in open wooden vats with a portion of whole clusters. Pigeage by foot once a day for two weeks. 18 months in small used French oak barrels.
