‘Cordon Cut’ refers to the unusual practice of cutting the canes allowing the grapes to ‘raisin’ naturally on the vine, concentrating flavour and sugar levels. 2020 is another outstanding vintage for Mount Horrocks. The wine is a bright, pale white gold colour with concentrated lemon-lime and vanilla spice. The juicy fruit washes over a vibrant mineral acidity that ensures it finishes bright, fresh and clean. Oh so moreish!

Tons of floral honey, ripe grapefruit and candied ginger make this concentrated and succulent riesling Spätlese really stand out of the crowd in this field. So much candied citrus on the rich yet cool and refined palate. The finish is both lush and very mineral. From biodynamically grown grapes with Respekt certification. Drink or hold. […]
Add to cart Producer: Clemens BuschThe 2020er Ellergrub, as it is referred to on the consumer label (the reference to Grosse Eule is left for the back label), has a restrained yet beautiful nose of minty herbs, thyme, yellow flowers, smoke, lozenge, spices, and blackberry. The wine proves slightly juicy and creamy on the mid-palate, yet there is quite some […]

Ripe stone fruit aromas intermingle with notes of crushed stones on a deep foundation of aromas from the soil and the fruit of old vines. On the palate, the 2021 is very fine but […]
Add to cart Producer: JJ PrumFrom the Coal River Valley; made by Sam Connew. Acidity is the secret to all things sweet, and the cool 2021 harvest was idyllic for wines of this ilk. Pale straw green; it leaps from the glass with brilliant purity of white lily fragrance, Granny Smith apple, lime and lemon. Not a molecule out of […]
