Seaspray and bananas and just ripe lemon and weird, meaty fruit scent of persimmons. All going on in the bouquet. Dry and saline to taste with puffs of talc in juicier things, citrus, ripe apple, more of the yeasty banana-bread kind of thing and excellent finish with a starburst of refreshing acidity. It feels unkempt in its way, but shapely and nicely bound up too. A punk in a tux. Very good, complex, crystalline and delicious wine. 94 points – Mike Bennie, The Winefront
