Rippon Riesling Jeunesse Young Vine 2019

This is a tasty number. It shows some light, savoury characters, sourdough dough and the like, but the mainstay is a kaleidoscope of citrus flavours, sweet, sour, juicy, tart, bright, racy, all meshed together in a succulent yet gently slippery way. It has length, stacks of flavour though a soft touch and it finishes bright and crunchy. It feels vibrant and cheery, fun to drink, but there’s a serious side too.
