Another spine-tingling Meadowbank Riesling, the 2019 is hand-picked, whole cluster pressed and naturally fermented in a mix of neutral oak and stainless tank. Both parcels matured on lees for five months. Blended and bottled without fining. This is an incisively fresh Riesling offering Tasmania’s typical mix of fresh green apple and citrus. The acid spine is seamlessly balanced by 8 g/L residual sugar.
Meadowbank’s Riesling vines were planted in 2005 and have been tended organically by Peter Dredge since 2017.
