A Taste of German Riesling Pack

$285.00 Per case of 6

Pack contains 1 bottle each of the following:

Battenfeld-Spanier Eisquel Riesling Trocken 2020

The Eisquel is the estate wine from Battenfeld-Spanier. Lighter tones of lemon with ripe, yellow stone fruit and mineral notes. Spectacularly crisp and complex on the palate. For lovers of complex, cooler Riesling styles, this Gutswein is an absolute must. 90 Points – Gault & Millau

Fritz Haag Riesling 2019

The 2019 Riesling is pure, bright and crystal-clear on the precise, floral and finessed nose. Round and juicy on the palate, this is a very delicate and stimulating Riesling in the off-dry style. The wine has enormous grip, and you won’t stop longing for it. Absolutely fabulous! 11% alcohol. Tasted from AP 1 20 in April 2020. Drink 2020-2032. 92 points, Stephan Rheinhardt, The Wine Advocate, August 2020.

Donnhoff Oberhauser Leistenberg Riesling Kabinett 2020

Some people think only the Mosel can produce stunning Kabinetts, but this is pristine and pure, so racy and uplifting. You barely feel the natural grape sweetness, but its a vital element of this wine. Super-clean finish. From organically grown grapes with Fair’n Green certification. Drink or hold. Screw cap. 94 points – Stuart Pigott,

Clemens Busch Riesling Kabinett 2020

Notes of stone fruit and melon, mango and citrus. Rich and creamy but with great freshness and mineral acidity. The perfect introduction to Busch’s superb Mosel wines!

Robert Weil Rheingau Riesling Trocken 2019

An excellent wine for this humble category that’s very food friendly. Bright, white-peach and lemon nose with delicate, floral notes. Sleek and elegant, the finely nuanced fruit neatly supported by a touch of tannin and creaminess from the lees. Then comes the lively, lemony and mineral freshness. 92 points, Stuart Pigott,

Eva Fricke Rheingau Riesling Trocken 2019

The 2019 Rheingau Riesling Trocken offers a clear, flinty, stunningly intense, ripe and concentrated but refreshing lemony bouquet with delicate flinty aromas. Medium to full-bodied, this is an intense yet frisky, perfectly round and balanced Riesling with ripe, piquant, well-integrated acidity that is not really soft but truly ripe and fine, even playful. In fact, the wine has 8.8 grams per liter of total acidity with 8.9 residual sugar, but that’s just analytics. This is a gorgeous wine with stunning extract yet a moderate 12.2% alcohol. 91 points, Stephan Reinhardt, The Wine Advocate
