This is the Estate villages white, coming only from Domaine grown fruit. The 2015 Rully Blanc really is seriously good, with Dureuil’s fastidiousness in the vineyard and cellar work shining through. It’s a super intense, vibrant white with a lot more tension and depth than you could possibly expect for the level.
The wine is entirely vinified in barrel, with 20% new oak used. Vincent uses the Chassin cooperage whose barrels are among Burgundy’s finest. It’s drawn from four organically managed plots–La Martelle, La Bergerie, En Guesnes and Chaponnière–with an average vine age of 40 plus years.
