This fantastic value wine is bottled under the Céline et Vincent Dureuil label, which means that this is a negociant bottling. Vincent Dureuil believes in selling his négociant bottlings at a lower price than his Domaine wines. Expect layers of spicy, white peach and nectarine fruit and a vibrant, mineral personality. Genuine value from an organic vineyard.
Rabourcé is a site with the nickname of ‘the Montrachet of Rully’ for the richness and power it delivers. It is a very steep site, west of the village above the highly regarded Cloux vineyard, and just below the forest. The soils here are mostly whitish, limestone-rich clay. It is always the first vineyard to ripen. It may not be ‘Domaine’, but the quality is outstanding for the money.
