There’s some exceptional value on offer here – ripeness, generous texture, precision and length are all well above the level expected for this money. Crafted from low yields, the wine was mostly raised in tank with the balance in some 600-litre demi-muids. This is dense and long with ripe stone fruit, grapefruit pith and brown spice notes and an intense, rocky drive. Still coming together, which is a remarkable thing to say of a white Burgundy at this price. A serious bargain!
