Guffens-Heynen Macon-Pierreclos Tri de Chavigne 2020

Tri de Chavigne is the result of several successive sortings in the vines at the top of the Chavigne parcel—simply called Les Vieilles—which is home to the vineyard’s oldest vines which reach up to 80 years. Here again, only the first juices were retained, the purest and most intense in their aroma, also the freshest and most tonic. Aging took place entirely in barrels, with a relatively low proportion (24%) of new wood.
