The 2017 Mâcon-Pierreclos Le Chavigne is very promising but still very primary, offering up a sun-kissed and fruit-driven bouquet, followed by a full-bodied, large scaled palate that displays nice cut and grip despite its power and size. Again, this needs time to come together, and everything will depend on how much additional tension it picks up with further élevage. 88-91+ points, William Kelley, The Wine Advocate #238
Outstanding white Burgundy with more class than many a Premier Cru. Fascinating, unique and delicious. Outstanding value.
