Aromas of vanilla, spice, discreet wood, frangipani, lemon oil and apricot. Almost full bodied, luscious and concentrated. Very complex. Yellow peach, lime, apricot, spice and subtly peach skin texture. Full of extract, amplitude and very long. The best Bourgogne Blanc we’ve tasted for a long time. Waters Wine Co
Regarded by those in the know as one of the great Bourgogne-level whites, this comes from just over a single hectare spread across five parcels—all in Meursault, and all neighbouring village-level vineyards. These parcels are Sous la Velle, En l’Ormeau, Les Herbeux, Les Lameroses and En la Monatine. The average age of the vines is 20 years. Volumes were reasonably close to normal this year and the wine itself is simply outstanding. Importer’s Notes
The 2017 Bourgogne Chardonnay confirms its fine showing from barrel, wafting from the glass with aromas of white flowers, lemon oil, almond paste, crisp green apple and wet stones. On the palate, it’s medium to full-bodied, satiny and incisive, with excellent concentration and a long, penetrating finish. 89 points, William Kelley, The Wine Advocate
Outstanding. Top Value. Here too the nose is super-fresh though with a different aromatic profile of apple, pear and lemon rind. The energetic and well-detailed flavors possess a really lovely texture for a wine of this level, all wrapped in a lingering and saline-inflected finish. This is an excellent Bourgogne. 87-89 points, Allen Meadows, Burghound

A great introduction to the estate, very much of their style and what one tends to expect from these parts. Lovely lift, with lemon, lime preserve, savoury spice, white flowers and yellow fruits. Pulpy and juicy, thoroughly abundant, with cream, spice some citrus zest, mandarin and white peach. Good energy to balance the satiny richness. […]
Add to cart“The 2019 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Morgeot Les Fairendes unfurls in the glass with notes of mirabelle plum, clear honey, white flowers and fresh pastry. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and textural, it’s deep and enveloping while remaining mouthwateringly bright and mineral. This is one of the more gourmand wines in the range.” 91-93 points, William Kelley, The […]
Add to cart Producer: Henri GermainThis 2022 leads with gentle reduction, flinty complexity and loads of acid and fruit in the mouth. This is abundantly composed, vigorously svelte and polished while being authentic. You get salted peach, preserved citrus, jasmine tea, star anise, clove, cut fennel and a line of graphite through phenolics. This is a thoroughly exciting Chardonnay to […]
Add to cart Producer: Nocturne2020 was a tiny vintage at Sailor Seeks Horse in the Huon Valley, yielding just 2 t/ha. But the long, cool growing season has produced wonderful Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Wines of elegance and finesse; structure and complexity. And very limited. “With high natural acidity we decided to put a few more of the […]
