“This is benchmark Meursault, where you will taste the essence of the vineyard rather than the winemaker’s idea of what you are looking for.” Bill Nanson, The Finest Wines of Burgundy

Contains 1 bottle each of the following and includes shipping:

Antoine Jobard Meursault 1er Cru Genevrieres 2017 (only 12 bottles imported)

The 2017 Meursault Genevrières 1er Cru has a wonderful, minty, citrus-driven bouquet that springs from the glass, bounding with energy. The concentrated palate delivers a sublime thread of acidity and touches of walnut and spice, leading to a very persistent finish that fans out gloriously. Huge potential here. 94 points, Neal Martin, Vinous

Aromas of light reduction dissipate to reveal notes of crisp green orchard fruit, wheat toast, iodine and dried white flowers, introducing Jobard’s 2017 Meursault 1er Cru Genevrières, a medium to full-bodied, satiny and enveloping wine that’s concentrated and incisive, its deep and layered core girdled with racy acids. Long, penetrating and saline, this is a brilliant Genevrières that’s more voluminous than the Poruzot and more elegant than the Charmes—and while it’s hard to pick a favorite between the Jobard “big three,” this gets my vote this year. 95 points, William Kelley, The Wine Advocate

Antoine Jobard Meursault Les Tillets 2017

Extremely complex aromas of kiwifruit, grapefruit, white/yellow/purple flowers, green apple and camphor. Concentrated with discreet wood, lemon, lime, kiwifruit, grapefruit, pithy, textural and mineral. Racy acidity. Fresh, long on the palate and very tightly wound. This coiled beauty has years ahead of it. Waters Wine Co

The 2017 Meursault Les Tillets is also showing very well, offering up aromas of Anjou pear, Meyer lemon, fresh pastry, oatmeal and iodine, followed by a medium to full-bodied, satiny and precise palate that marries a delicately sun-kissed core of fruit with racy acids and chalky dry extract. This is well worth seeking out. 92 points, William Kelley, The Wine Advocate

Outstanding. Top Value. An airy and elegant nose offers up cool and smoky aromas of essence of pear and an assortment of citrus elements. The tighter and much more mineral-inflected middle weight flavors possess outstanding delineation on the lilting, indeed almost delicate lemon rind-inflected finish. This is textbook Tillets, which is to say a wine of finesse and refinement. 89-92 points, Allen Meadows, Burghound

Antoine Jobard Bourgogne Blanc 2017

Aromas of vanilla, spice, discreet wood, frangipani, lemon oil and apricot. Almost full bodied, luscious and concentrated. Very complex. Yellow peach, lime, apricot, spice and subtly peach skin texture.  Full of extract, amplitude and very long. The best Bourgogne Blanc we’ve tasted for a long time. Waters Wine Co

The 2017 Bourgogne Chardonnay confirms its fine showing from barrel, wafting from the glass with aromas of white flowers, lemon oil, almond paste, crisp green apple and wet stones. On the palate, it’s medium to full-bodied, satiny and incisive, with excellent concentration and a long, penetrating finish. 89 points, William Kelley, The Wine Advocate

Outstanding. Top Value. Here too the nose is super-fresh though with a different aromatic profile of apple, pear and lemon rind. The energetic and well-detailed flavors possess a really lovely texture for a wine of this level, all wrapped in a lingering and saline-inflected finish. This is an excellent Bourgogne. 87-89 points, Allen Meadows, Burghound
