Cuvée No. 1701; a non-vintage blend of pinot noir/chardonnay/pinot meunier, predominately 2017 fruit with 15.5% aged reserve wine. Pale straw in the glass with a superfine, energetic bead and mousse. Aromas of green apple, citrus and white peach with hints of crushed stone, brioche, mushroom broth, white flowers, vanilla, cream, oyster shell, lanolin and proving dough. It cuts a sophisticated line across the palate with notes of roasting nuts framed by shimmering acidity and wonderful drive and complexity.
