Murdoch Hill’s crisp, dry rosé is made from an off-the-wall blend of Cabernet and Pinot Gris. Deliciously textural and savoury, with a wash of cherry-berry fruit, fragrant rose water and touch of spice. Yum!
The Cabernet, sourced from Estate vineyards in Oakbank, makes up 70% of the blend and is pressed straight off skins. It takes its colour from the blend and is wild-fermented in old barrique and foudre. This was blended with Pinot Gris from Lobethal to add texture and a fine acidity.
