Lovely colour, pale and with that hint of Provence rust. Very racy palate, with juicy upfront red fruits. The palate develops and I get apricots and spicy watercress on the finish. Perfect session wine and can be paired with anything. WWC, January 2019.
Pure Provence in style, this is a great all-occasions wine, and a first rate introduction to French rosé. Made and priced to over-deliver. From a riper vintage, this release is a little more fruit forward than usual, and that’s no bad thing. Full in the mouth and with an extra layer of juicy zestiness, classic strawberries and cream with a drop of mandarin juice, and a bittering, complexing finish, akin to the closing bite of a good gin and tonic. An easy wine to love and everything it should be – refreshing, straightforward, delicious and highly moreish!
