Dry rosé direct pressed Grenache & Mourvedre and the Cinsault is left on skins for 12-24 hours. Turkish delight, vanilla, lychee and spice from the Cinsault. Rasberry, red apple skin and strawberry from the Grenache. The first vintage with Mouverdre brings a peach ice tea feeling with a lick of mulberry. Touch of amaro-like spice and glazed citrus peel to finish off. Mouth-wateringly good! Only 4,164 bottles produced.
Thirst slaking, thirst crushing, texture and pleasure rolled into a pile of red berry fruitiness with slick of nougat cream and some exotic spice sprinkled over the whole, damn lot. Pure pleasure here, into the savoury zone, tart and tangy too, but whatever the notes say the glass is empty and I’m sloshing out more. A ripper. 94 Points – Mike Bennie, The Winefront
