Rich and full-bodied, with heaps of raspberries, cherries, strawberry and cream. Textured, with mouth-watering, tangy acidity. Beautiful wine from one of the Loire Valley’s finest biodynamic producers. WWC January 2019.
This fragrant, full flavoured and textured dry rosé is made from Grolleau (80%) and Pinot Noir (20%) with a tiny touch of Gamay. The vines are rooted in the flint, clay and limestone of the Cher Valley between Tours and Orléans. Wild fermented and raised in steel tank, it’s a seductive, amply textured yet refreshing rosé. Red berry and grenadine fruit shot through with sappy, peppery complexity. A mouthwatering, bitter-sweet finish. Very smart rosé.
