The grapes used to make this rosé come from selected parcels where the vines are on average 20 years old. The yields are low, which explains the intense concentration and distinct expression of each varietal in this wine. The presence of Mourvedre gives this wine its strong character, balance and complexity. An intense fruit and floral nose make this an attractive rosé.The palate is rounded and full with fruity aromas of peach and pomegranate, followed by delicate spice notes and a pleasant freshness created by acidic balance.
Light purple-pink hue, with a smoky reductive aroma, slightly poohy at first pour, then rich and softly-textured, dry and flavoursome on the tongue. A delicious wine, complex and lingering. Turkish Delight and quince paste. The palate is where it all happens, and it’s a glorious drink. DRINK 2020–2026’ Rating: 95 Points (tasted twice). Huon Hooke, The Real Review (June 2020) – 2019 vintage
Famously known as ‘the greatest rose in the world’ thanks to Robert Parker, the Bandol Tempier Rosé offers a unique blend of complexity and freshness.

Producer: Domaine TempierCabernet off the Sheaok Vineyard, and it’s a beauty (although it comes in a way-too-heavy bottle about 1.5kg when full). No complaints about the flavour profile of blackberry essence and cassis, cedary oak spices and toasted nori, black olive tapenade and menthol. It’s fuller bodied with a ping of lively acidity, and the tannins are […]
Add to cart Producer: NocturneEvery wine from Hochkirch sits on a plane of extraordinary quality and great value. Beyond the tension, detail and sensual complexity, is a texturally beautiful, intricate and woven wine, all the threads coming together yet somehow separate. The 2022 Tarrington Vineyards Chardonnay is perfection and I defy anyone who says they don’t like Chardonnay not […]
Add to cart Producer: HochkirchThe latest rendition of Agrapart’s NV Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Terroirs is excellent. Based on the 2018 vintage, with fully 60% reserve wines from 2017 (some 40% of which mature in wood), it’s medium to full-bodied, seamless and chiseled, evocative of citrus oil, buttered toast, mint and fresh bread. It derives from […]
Add to cart Producer: AgrapartOne of the best LBV’s tasted in a long time. I often find them losing a little bit of freshness and bitter notes too apparent. Not a bit of it here, however! Oozing aromatics of blackcurrant, blackberry, mulberry, black cherry, prunes, dates, violets and mint. Luscious and full bodied, some clove and cinnamon, the spice […]
