The Estate’s classic release, Terre di Corzano, is 90% Sangiovese and 10% Canaiolo. The organic grapes are harvested by hand and aged in a combination of large 25 hectolitre botti casks (still very rare in Tuscany) and older barriques. Corzano’s unique terroir and Aljoscha Goldschmidt’s fastidious, low-input winemaking have produced this classic racy, mouth-watering Corzano. Deliciously pure flavours of cherry fruit, edged with wild thyme. Fine, lingering tannins and a hint of minerality from the rocky soils complete the profile of a wine that is anything but your run-of-the-mill Chianti.
