The Tissot Rouge DD is a blend of the 3 Jura varietals, PInot Noir, Poulsard and Trousseau. Made by the same process for at least 50 years. The Pinot Noir is whole bunch, whilst the Poulsard and Trousseau, destemmed. Everything is co-fermented in a 100 year old 2000 litre foudre. The wine is fermented for 3 months on skins, without pigeage or pumpovers. The result is gorgeous. The 2017 is vivid in colour, with an expressive nose of red fruits and flowers. The palate is plush and really fresh with hints of pencil shavings. Effortless weight and fine powdery tannins. Striding gracefully.
