Ravensworth Long Way Around Malbec 2021

One of the best examples of Malbec in Australia, albeit with a little help from some Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The Malbec flavours do dominate however with dark fruits, kirsch, violets, aniseed and clove. Vivid and deep, so juicy and refreshing, and the cabernet elements weave in angles and stiffening structure. Mineral and buoyant and for all that, lovely ripe, firm velvet tannins. Waters Wine Co

The latest addition to the exciting Long Way Around range – Malbec et al. Sourced from top quality sites and like-minded friends in Margaret River, Canberra and Hilltops. This is 50% Malbec, 25% Cabernet Franc and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon. There is a mix of whole berry and carbonic fermentation, followed by 2-3 weeks on skins. Pressed to new and used puncheons.
