Bursting with aromas of cherries, plums and cassis mingled with sweet soil tones and petals, Dancer’s 2020 Pommard Les Perrières is medium to full-bodied, lively and charming, with a fleshy core of vibrant fruit and fine, chalky tannins. 89-91 points, William Kelley, The Wine Advocate
Driving south on the D974, Les Perrières sits under the famed Clos des Epeneaux and is the first Pommard vineyard on your right after you leave the commune of Beaune. The Dancers farm almost one hectare of vines here, planted in 2012. They work with very low yields to achieve the textural richness and seduction you’ll find here. It’s a darker, inkier wine than the Beaune (as you would expect), but it still offers lovely finesse and purity.

The altitude and cool air from the forest help moderate the climate here, resulting in slow ripening and flavour development, while […]

The palate exhibits similar flavour spectrum with some nice density to it, trademark Toolangi tannin to close but its fresh and ready to go! Fruit […]
Add to cartA terrific follow up to the excellent 2019 with notes of blackcurrant, dark cherry, blackberry, sandalwood, baking spices and plum. Medium bodied, plush, succulent and sappy. The oak frames the wine nicely and is beautifully integrated. It’s delicate and pretty, the fruit sweet and tangy. Tannins are long, drawn out, powdery and soft. Very fine […]
