Sourced from three vineyards from the Piccadilly Valley and the Basket and Forest ranges, each vineyard site is carefully chosen to provide a diverse flavour profile. Hand-picked and destemmed, allowing for the retention of whole berries the juice is open fermented in small one-tonne vats. Varying levels of whole bunches were included in the ferments ranging from 25 – 100%, bringing structure and spice. Matured in French barrique (15% new), there’s strawberry and red cherry aromas and a subtle chariness from the oak. Early picking has kept the palate vibrant and fresh with a cooling minerality. This is a lovely, delicate, bright and moreish Pinot Noir.
