There’s some reductive notes to the 2018 but they’re balanced by cherry fruits, cranberries and stalky hints. Great balance of tartness and sweet fruit. Utterly mouth-watering. Only 1848 bottles produced, without fining or filtration.
Made with fruit sourced from a single Derwent Valley vineyard. Naturally fermented with 15% whole bunches in barrels. No plunging or pump overs. Pressed to and matured in oak, 33% new, for 7 months.
