A blend of all our estate vineyards plus the Wilsmore and St James’s vineyard in Piccadilly. The 2023 release is light and ethereal, reflecting the cool season we had up here. Do not get us wrong, its still in our usual house style – all the dance of aromatics on the nose and the tannin across your pallet…perfect for pairing with nearly anything on the lunch and dinner table.
20% whole cluster open top fermentation for three weeks, but the blend includes some shorter macerated 100%-whole-bunch fermentation barrels. Eight months in French oak barriques and puncheons, 10% new. Winemaker’s Notes
