“The 2022 Bourgogne Rouge Hautes-Cotes de Beaune is a blend from three hectares and represents a selection of the best bunches. It includes 60% whole bunches added into the vat as a millefeuille. The slightly rustic nose offers dark berry fruit, cracked black pepper and touches of graphite. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins. The absence of oak means that this has a kind of rawness that I really like, strangely, for the second time in my tasting, reminiscent of a cool red Loire. Very fresh with a graphite-tinged finish. This will shine on the dinner table.” 90 Points, Neal Martin, Vinous
This Bourgogne Rouge from the Hauts-Côtes de Beaune is a selection of best fruit pickings of 3 different plots. With no oak used during winemaking, it is a pure expression of Bourgogne fruit.
