Sentio Nebbiolo 2021

A wonderful juxtaposition here between nebbiolo florals, fruit and tannin/acidity. There’s an imposing structural strength behind the delicacy of the florals and the concentration of fruit. It’s early days, but the basis for an exciting, long-lived wine is here. Rose, anise, cranberry, cherry, dried flowers, earth and leaves introduce a wine that the longer it is open, the more it reveals layer upon layer of quiet intensity. Red Delicious apple. Earl Gray tea. Purple wine gums. An ethereal wine with intrigue and intent. Aromatic fruit on the front palate; the tannins elevate and drive the wine. A Nebbiolo with incredible focus and finesse. Winemaker’s Note
