Thivin make this wine at the Manoir du Pavé, with five or six days of vinification to bring out the fresh flavours and liveliness. The 2018 is bright red in colour. Bursting with fresh blackcurrant and plum aromas and a mouth full of juicy red fruit. Goes excellently with cold meats and roast poultry.
This Beaujolais vineyard is located on the foothills of the Massif Central, where a number of small valleys meet on their way to the plain of the river Saône. The vineyard includes the picturesque Cherves valley. On the western slope the four hectares of Beaujolais Villages flourish on granitic slopes which are too steep for tractors.
