Guy Breton’s Vieilles Vignes 2019 is from vines over 80 years old. It’s a bottomless pit of dazzling red fruits, ginger, spice and herbs. Another of Kermit Lynch’s Beaujolais Gang of Four, Breton farms 4 hectares organically with around 80% in the Morgon appellation. Carbonic maceration at low temperatures, followed by natural fermentation and ageing in old Burgundian Barrels. Bottled unfined and unfiltered of course.
