Lifted dark cherry, blackcurrant and wild herbs on the nose. The palate is rich, juicy and rounded with ripe chewy tannins, finishing with a lovely freshness. The 2018 Pumpa from Sons of Eden is delightfully approachable now but will continue to gain complexity as it matures.
A blend of mostly Eden Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, with a small amount of Shiraz. Named as a tribute to Len Pumpa and his fellow Eden Valley Vignerons who pioneered and persisted in one of Australia’s most challenging but rewarding viticultural regions.
