Strawberry, cherry, a little creamy to smell, orange peel and fennel tips. It’s smooth and gentle, fine powdery texture, fresh strawberry and redcurrant, slightly earthy and savoury, turning fleshy and firm on a solid finish. Great to drink. Well sophisticated. 93 points – Gary Walsh, The Winefront
Strong rose petal scents, raspberry, cherry and whiffs of old spice cupboard spiciness. Juicy on the palate, transparent, clear, lightly crunchy, mouth-watering, wet-pebble acidity underpinning light cherry and dried strawberry flavours. So delicate but with so much tension. Golden colour with a pink tease. Complex bouquet of strawberries, fresh figs, wild honey and peaches – the longer in the glass the more in reveals. Strong chardonnay influence on this wine – textured and concentrated mid – palate, it’s powerful yet balanced. Stone fruits rather than classic red berries steering the ship.
