Tokaji Oremus Mandolas Dry Furmint 2019

Aged in small traditional 136 litre barrels and picked golden ripe, I cannot think of any wine that is full bodied yet so abundantly fresh, tangy and full zingy drive. Citrus and stone fruits, cherry, plum, marzipan, beeswax, cinnamon, creamy apple and salty minerality. Very broad, yet precise flavours and a terrific match for roast chicken.
