‘Cordon Cut’ refers to the unusual practice of cutting the canes allowing the grapes to ‘raisin’ naturally on the vine, concentrating flavour and sugar levels. 2020 is another outstanding vintage for Mount Horrocks. The wine is a bright, pale white gold colour with concentrated lemon-lime and vanilla spice. The juicy fruit washes over a vibrant mineral acidity that ensures it finishes bright, fresh and clean. Oh so moreish!

The wine proves slightly juicy and creamy on the mid-palate, yet there is quite some […]

Well, the first reason is that the fruit comes from 100% Grand Cru estate vines grown by one of the most meticulous vignerons in the region. Then there is the five percent of Egly’s 2015 Coteaux Champenois Rouge—the finest red wine […]
Add to cart Producer: Egly-OurietPre-arrival due August Prüm’s 2015 Graacher Himmelreich Spätlese is clear, intense and flinty on the nose, very precise but well concentrated; however, it is the most reductive of the Spätlese quartet. Round and piquant, with a stimulating fruit and salinity, this is a very well-defined, crystalline and straight Spätlese of great finesse and elegance. It […]
