100% semillon, hand picked, whole-bunch pressed, only made in some years. Matured for 18 months in seasoned French oak. The fruit has piercing intensity of flavour on the tongue; ginger spice, Italian mountain herbs, white pepper, stone fruit, apple and pear blossom, crunchy sea salt flakes and something else dry and salty in there … dried kelp perhaps. This is an ever-moving, complex, layered and diaphanous wine of great length. Highly recommended. 375ml bottle. 95 points – Erin Larkin, Halliday Wine Companion 2022
